Tenant Improvement (TI) - Offices
Built in 1926, the 1505 on 5th still retains some outward charm of buildings of this time. Located in Seattle’s retail cove, Ankrom Moisan Architects moved into the second and third floors of this mixed-retail building.
The two floors create over 24,000 square feet of creative and collaborative inspiration for the growing Seattle office of 100 employees. Moving from three different locations in the Pioneer district, this architectural firm – who specializes in mixed-use, affordable, senior and student housing as well as healthcare, workplace and hospitality projects in mostly urban locations – now has space to house all employees in one place with room to grow.
Because of the open floor plan with “exposed structural elements”, and Ankrom Moisan’s design that embraced “authenticity in materials” SME Inc of Seattle’s usually hidden work would now be part of the interior design. Our scope of work on this TI consisted of lighting, lighting control, furniture connections, and fire and alarm systems.
